A keypad lock may work without a connected app, while other products add remote features through additional equipment. Read the manufacturer’s actual requirements and privacy information. Product support, account setup and compatibility with other systems must be confirmed for the chosen model.
Create and manage credentials through the product’s secure setup process. Keep master codes, passwords, account recovery information and network credentials private. If you need help describing a setup problem, use the model number and the symptom rather than the code itself.
